The page is meant to expand to about 90% of browser width. Everything on the right is supposed to move to the right depending on how high the user’s resolution is.

Also, I don’t think extending the deadline is good. A deadline is a time for people to finish. If they don’t have it done in time, then they didn’t put enough interest into their work.
